CNC production · Estonia

From prototype to series production.

Same drawing revision, process method and inspection from the first approved piece through series. A batch does not start from zero.

Continuity

Prototype → series, same baseline.

With the first approved part we fix feasibility. In series we carry forward revision, fixturing and inspection.

Series may optimise the method; revision, requirements and inspection points must remain.

Volumes

Volume drives fixturing.

Higher volume → more fixturing, tooling, inspection stabilisation.

Capability with the job.

When needed we build fixtures, expand measurement or add equipment — if the job requires it.

Goal: stable series, less variation, one partner.

Practical questions

FAQ

Drawing, quantity, critical requirements, recurrence.

Can we start with one part?

Yes. Single/prototype alone or as a prelude to series. Feasibility from the drawing.

Are prototype and series always made the same way?

Not necessarily — in series we optimise fixturing/inspection; revision remains the baseline.

What is retained for a repeat order?

Typically: revision, program, fixture, inspection plan — scope per job.

Can capability grow with volume?

Yes. When needed: fixture, measurement, process or machine.
